WHEN IN DOUBT, JUST GO BAREFOOT
Some recent, and not so recent, pics of celeb barefoot sightings. Celebs like to go barefoot too, just like us mere mortals.
Kate Hudson, Britney, Kimberly Stewart, and Nicole Richie. Out of these girls, maybe Nicole Richie is the barefoot queen--or it's a tie between her and Brit.

Its a pretty close toss-up but I have to give it to Brit for being the barefoot queen. She puts her barefeet up on the dashboard, walks outside everywhere she can barefoot, has that more trailertrash, laid-back, I don't have to wear shoes, panties, or a bra anywhere attitude, which is actually very sexy to me. I like to see girls walking on sidewalks or on outdoor hard surfaces carrying their shoes. I see flip flops becoming extremely popular these days and its very trendy to see the flip flop vinyl window decals on cars, which is also cute. I think Britney is the barefoot queen and has really actually very pretty feet.

Hey Chris,
I'd have to agree with you that Brit has very pretty feet and has a very deep sensuality. I hope, for her sake, that she doesn't change all the beautiful things about herself and finds the strength within her to get control over her life. That girl deserves to get her life in order.
Peace,
Rachel

What surprised me was how so many young fans of these celebreties were grossed out at the thought rather than following their barefoot in public example!
They copied everything else these girls did, why not the bare feet?. Traditionally throughout the second half of the 20'th century, going barefoot in public was the exclusive privelage of young ladies. With the exception of children, beatniks, hippies, and surfers, the only people considered appropriatly attired while shoeless were teen and young adult women.
Why is it that today it's the Britney fans and wannabees that express the most disgust with the prospect of nicely dirtied soles?

Hey Boardster,

I love this response from you. I love it when people bring in some intelligent discussion and new insights.

Peace,
Rachel
